About Us

Founded in 1982, our initial performances consisted of excerpts from the British duos works. When financially able, we began to perform complete operettas.

Today we are a charitable organization dedicated to performing all 14 works of G&S. Our membership comes from all walks of life. In 2001, we performed The Pajama Game a rather large change of pace for us; but necessary to raise funds to continue our traditional shows.

Each year during the Christmas season we stage a traditional British Panto with a cast of approximately 30 adults, youths and children. For many, this is their first exposure to musical theatre.

Our financing is always a challenge. We fund raise all year to generate the necessaryfunds to stage the G&S performances. The other programs are self supporting as they run a sufficient length to recover costs. Of course Corporate sponsorship and Patrons are always welcome.

In putting on our shows we provide our cast with vocal training, dance training, and stage direction. We offer backstage crew direction in designing, building, and painting sets, prop making, costume design and construction, and more. High school students have been able to earn volunteer hours for graduation and gain valuable experience to put on their resumes. We also offer the Gary McGill Scholarship to a deserving cast or crew member to assist them in further training in their area of the arts.
